Duas After Salah
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ (ثَلاثاً)
Astaghfirullah (thalaathan)
I seek the forgiveness of Allah (three times).
Context: Recited after the obligatory prayer as a form of seeking forgiveness.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ، وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
Allahumma Antas-Salamu, wa minkas-salamu, tabarakta ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram.
O Allah, You are As-Salam (the One Who is free from all defects and deficiencies) and from You is all peace, blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honour.
Context: Taught as part of the adhkar after salah to invoke safety and peace.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ala kulli shay’in qadir.
There is no deity except Allah, Alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things powerful.
Context: Recited after salah as a comprehensive declaration of Tawhid.

اللهم إنا على ذكرك وشكرك وحسن عبادتك
Allahumma inna alaa dhikrika wa shukrika wa husna ibaadatik
O Allah, indeed we are upon Your remembrance, Your gratitude, and the excellence of Your worship.
Context: Recited after salah to express constant remembrance and gratitude to Allah.
Reference: Sunan At-Tirmidhi 3470
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ...
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa al-Hayyul-Qayyum ...
Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence...
Context: Recited after Salah for protection against Shaytan.

Tafsir: Known as Ayatul Kursi, emphasis on monotheism and Allah’s attributes.
Duas from the Quran
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil 'akhirati hasanatan waqina 'adhaban-nar.
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Context: Revealed after "Bismillah" in Surah Al-Baqarah as a general supplication for goodness.

Tafsir: This dua is a comprehensive prayer for goodness in both worlds, as explained in Tafsir Ibn Kathir.
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana baAAda idh hadaytana wahab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka antalwahhab.
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Context: Revealed in Surah Ali Imran when warnings were given about hearts deviating after guidance.

Tafsir: According to Tafsir Al-Jalalayn, this verse asks Allah to protect our hearts after guidance.
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي
Rabbi ishrah li sadri
My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance].
Context: Supplication by Prophet Musa when assigned the mission confronting Pharaoh.

Tafsir: Tafsir Ibn Kathir explains this is a dua for ease in mission.
رَبَّنَا لَا تُجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا
Rabbana la taj’alna fitnatan lilladhina kafaru
Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoers...
Context: Supplication made by believers after overcoming trial.
Reference: Quran 7:126 (Al-A'raf)
Tafsir: Dua to seek protection from being a trial to disbelievers.
